Here’s a sweet little cocktail for Valentine’s Day that packs a big punch. The soft rosy color comes from PAMA Liqueur, a liqueur made with pomegranate juice, premium vodka and imported tequila. And we’re going to add even more vodka, so this will definitely warm your insides and make your cheeks blush indeed. We’re also adding a touch of raspberry jam. This may seem like a strange ingredient for a cocktail, but the jam offers just the right amount of sweetness to counterbalance the tartness of the rhubarb bitters. Just be sure to strain the liquid well from the shaker to remove any pesky raspberry seeds. Cheers to a lovely drink to enjoy with your loved one not just on this Valentine’s Day, but any day of the year.
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker (except for the bubbly) filled with ice. Shake until well chilled. Strain well over a pretty cocktail glass. Top with Prosecco or Sparkling Wine.
If you can’t find PAMA, substitute plain pomegranate juice , a 1/2 ounce of your favorite tequila and add a bit more raspberry jam.
